Brawl Stars Ranked Brawler Picker

Which brawler should you choose in Ranked? BrawlPick is a free ranked picker for Brawl Stars: pick the current Ranked map, add the bans and both teams' picks as the draft happens, and it recommends the strongest brawlers you can actually play — with a short reason for each.

Free. No download or sign-up needed — you can start in guest mode.

How the Ranked picker works

  1. Choose Ranked, then the mode and map. BrawlPick shows the current Ranked map pool, which it updates daily from real Ranked battles.
  2. Add the draft as it happens. Up to six bans, up to three picks for your team and up to three enemy picks.
  3. Read the recommendations. The best remaining brawlers are listed with tags such as "Strong map fit", "Strong counter pick", "Balances team roles" or "Risky into enemy comp".

What changes during a Ranked draft

The picker weighs things differently depending on how much of the draft is known. With no picks visible yet, it leans toward flexible brawlers that are hard to punish, because you can't see the enemy. Once enemy picks are in, countering them gets more weight, and once your teammates have picked, filling the role your team is missing matters more. That mirrors how experienced players draft: safe early, reactive late.

Banned and already-picked brawlers are removed completely rather than just scored lower, so you never get a recommendation you can't lock in.

Only brawlers you can play in Ranked

Brawl Stars requires a brawler to be at Power 9 or higher to use it in Ranked. Add your brawlers manually or import them from your player tag, and BrawlPick can limit its suggestions to brawlers you own at Power 9+. Power level is only an eligibility check: it never raises or lowers a brawler's score, so a Power 9 and a Power 11 brawler are ranked purely on how well they fit the draft.

Where the recommendations come from

Each recommendation combines map and mode fit, counters against the enemy picks, synergy and role balance with your team, and — where enough battles have been observed — measured win rates for that map. You can see those observed numbers yourself on the map statistics page, which combines Ranked and regular battles. The full scoring explanation is on how BrawlPick works.

Ranked questions

Which brawler should I choose for Ranked?

One that fits the current map and mode, fills a gap in your team and isn't easily countered by what the enemy has already picked — and that you own at Power 9+. If you pick first, favour a flexible brawler; if you pick last, favour a counter. The picker does this weighing for you.

Does the picker know the current Ranked maps?

Yes. The Ranked map pool is updated automatically every day from real Ranked battles, so the map list in the picker follows the live rotation.

Is this different from the draft helper?

It is the same tool. This page explains how it handles Ranked specifically; the draft helper page focuses on the pick-and-ban phase step by step, and the Ranked guide covers drafting strategy in general.

Player statistics too

Add your player tag and BrawlPick also shows your trophies, victories, collection progress and recent battle performance alongside the picker.
